Jordan Voogt
Jordan is an Architect at MMA, and has experience in residential, commercial, exhibition, multifamily, and civic-facing infrastructural projects. He has contributed to work at varying scales and across phases of project delivery.
Originally from West Michigan, he attended the University of Michigan where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Architecture. He then earned his Master of Architecture at the Rhode Island School of Design. He has lived and worked in Providence, Rhode Island and Chicago, Illinois before returning to West Michigan to join MMA. Jordan felt drawn to MMA due to our high attention to detail and craft, and also because of the progressive and human-centered spirit that is celebrated here.
Jordan’s design approach stems from his interest in providing a thoughtful experience for people, while maintaining an engagement with the larger forces surrounding a site’s context; whether it’s social, geographical, ecological, or political.
When not working, Jordan enjoys being with his family, homebrewing, traveling around northern Michigan, and hanging out with his cat.
