One of our 2022 summer interns, Meghana Tummala was recently awarded the 2023 Raoul Wallenberg Fellowship, which provides an opportunity for an independent project of learning or exploration anywhere in the world during the year after graduation.

After graduating in May and concluding her Peace Corps prep certification, she will return to Mexico City this summer to expand her knowledge of community-based design and discover how architecture can play a role in addressing climate change.

MMA Founding Principal Evan Mathison was also a recipient of this fellowship way back in 2001.

We look forward to seeing Meghana’s research!
