Little Traverse Conservancy plans Malcolm Center to expand mission and community learning
The Little Traverse Conservancy has been protecting land and water in five Northern Michigan counties over the last five decades.
Now, the organization is ready to grow. That’s why they’re planning to build the Malcolm Center.
"We’re all about protecting the land for the people, not from the people."
The Malcolm Center will be built on the Offield Family Viewlands Working Forest Reserve in Harbor Springs.
It will not only support the conservancy’s administrative services, but it will also serve as a place for community members to learn more about what northern Michigan’s environment has to offer.
